But overall as long as you're giving them orders they're acceptable. In Iron front liberation when I say Stupid AI I mean they occasionally get stuck when driving tanks or die/become disabled before the final mission objective which makes it hard to complete alone.
AI in the I44 mod is broken for some reason, they don't respond to some commands which isn't something that I experience in ArmA 2. Overall I44(The mod) is quantity not quality whereas Liberation front(the standalone game) is quality and content over quantity.ĪrmA 2 doesn't freeze or crash for me ever, Iron front has a couple of times because of the amount of AI in missions.ĪI isn't complete crap though, ArmA 2 is meant to be about large scale battles with tanks, planes, choppers, vehicles and infantry all going at it I'd be interested to see what game you think has better AI that's able to do as much as ArmA 2's can. There's my personal opinion and some screenshots comparing the two, click to enlarge them. Tank and vehicle damage model(static explosion, no loss of parts or anything.) AI refuses to respond to certain orders like "stealth" or "copy stance" Some missions are difficult because of stupid and buggy AI Many vehicles, weapons and aircraft to choose from Certain missions can be very difficult because of stupid AI
Some of the sound is very poor and sounds weak Campaign gives poor performance because of the amount of AI used on certain missions Small selection of weaponry, armor and aircraft Excellent detailed models for all of the soldiers, weapons, cockpits and vehicles Have modeled cockpits, armor plates, engines, track etc. Multiplayer support with many servers(mostly european) The problem with RO2 is that not enough of the maps are tank based and the one that is, is just a bland open map." Also World of Tanks (not a sim) is a good tank experience. BF3 did a better job implementing tanks into it's game. Tanks where meant to destroy the infantry's cover and gun placements. It turns out, The game doesn't really truly support tanks.
I am tired of shooting ai…"Īnother user says: "I bought RO2 for the tanks. I found some comments about RO2 on youtube: i think about to buy I44 on steam, but im afraid that the multiplay gamers will be all pro`s and i will have no chance to survive because most of the guys are computer and ego shooter nerdsĬoncerning RO2 multiplayer i found this comment on youtube to a RO2 ingame video Thank you from GameBanana <3.Pavel Šafář, Project Lead on the recently announced Enfusion Engine, has told 80 Level about the development process behind the engine, talked about its features, and shared some exclusive screenshots, showing the engine's lighting capabilities.Well i must say that i spended hours in operation flashpoint and ARMA just to try out the stuff and weapons, and the adons, it was for me a great fun to fly a MIG-15 addon airplane in ARma2 and to land it on the airfield.
